The Sour Patch Kids - Valentine’s Day Campaign, was launched to make our company the go to treat over chocolate this holiday season. Through the use of non-traditional advertising media, the innovative campaign successfully hosted an immersive pop-up event in Manhattan, NY, put out interactive and flat forms of advertisements, rebranded packaging, and had a large presence on social media. Because the Sour Patch Kids campaign was run through Valentine’s Day, a pink and red color palette was intertwined with the company’s traditional yellow and green coloring. Custom typography was created and translated into a pattern that lined the events walls. In addition, a promotional video was shot to advertise the event. Featured on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, Sour Patch Kids knew a large population would be reached.
