Optimal Sports Management is a progressive NIL agency, built upon athletes’ visions of being the best players they can be on the field, but also the most notable figures off-the field through innovative marketing campaigns. Acting as the agencies Head Graphic Designer, I am at the forefront of OSM's creative endeavors, leading the direction of content creation.
Kutztown University Men's Soccer is one of the many prestigious clubs offered on Kutztown's campus. Participating in the NIRSA Region 1 Eastern PA Conference, KUMS is highly competitive and structured to be similar to a NCAA varsity team. Serving as the groups sole graphic designer, I challenged myself to give each of the social compositions a distinctive look, while keeping the entirety of the collection closely aligned with university guidelines. Consistency can be seen through colors, fonts, textures and subtly layered images.
During my six week internship with Play9 Sports, an elite baseball tournament organization, I had the opportunity to create a variety of graphic deliverables including social media templates, printed event programs, and animated competition recap videos. With full creative freedom, I aimed to make the compositions simplistic with a typographic focus, allowing for viewers to easily digest the content while maintaining an aesthetic, cohesive look. In addition to designing, I was given the chance to manage their social platforms, like Instagram and Twitter, keeping them up to date on game day. I worked directly with in-person game scouts to quickly and accurately release final score updates.
The Fast CAT (Coursing Ability Test) Event is a timed 100-yard dash where dogs run one at a time, chasing a lure. This custom logo was featured at the 2023 run hosted by the Delaware Valley Dalmatian Club in Macungie, PA. It served, and will continue to serve, as a modern, eye-catching point of identification for the up-and-coming sport.
Since 1990, the Optimist Club of Kutztown (a premier volunteer organization that values children and helps them develop to their full potential) has been hosting the Fools Run along their towns picturesque country side roads. To represent the towns rich Pennsylvania Dutch history, I created a custom hex sign that utilized traditional imagery including the Distelfink (aka the "good luck bird") and the Trinity Tulip. I also included other elements, like the road to emphasize the bird's running motion, and the thin grid lines to emphasize depth. The cartoon style of the Distelfink, the embellished font, and the bold colors are modernized, comical features that participants of all ages enjoyed.
